A good place to start looking is in the  online Study South West Higher Education Prospectus. It lists all the HE courses you could do in the area and where you can find out more information.

Do what you love

Do you have a passion about a particular subject? Mad about music, silly over science, go ape for art? Or maybe you want to learn about something completely new?

It is important that you choose subjects that will keep you interested and motivated about learning.

Don’t worry if you are not sure yet what you are most interested in or what you want to study. There are plenty of things you can do to help decide on a course. Besides, where is the excitement of discovering new things and learning more about yourself if you already know all your likes and dislikes!

Thinking about what type of career you would like in the future can be useful when you are choosing a higher education course. Perhaps you already have a career in mind? If not, it might be worth talking to someone who can help you work out what types of jobs would suit your strengths and interests as well as fit into the lifestyle that you want.
