Supporting and encouraging your children and students into higher education is not always straightforward, however the end result is definitely worthwhile so don’t give up!

You may be surprised to find that higher education is not as out of reach as you think. There are so many different types of higher education and it encompasses much more than the traditional academic Honours degree.

You don't need to be rich to go into higher education and because there are so many routes into higher education courses, you do not always need to have A levels.

The type of support and advice you will need to give will vary greatly but no one expects you to have all the answers.

These pages are made up of suggestions, information and links to resources that we hope will help you in your worthwhile role as a higher education advocate!
