Bursaries

In 2007/8 universities and colleges can charge up to £3070 in fees. Because of this they must provide certain students with a minimum bursary.

You will qualify for a bursary from your university or college if your fees for 2007/8 are more that £3,145 and you receive the full Maintenance Grant or Special Support Grant

If the above does not apply to you it is still worth checking with your university or college because they offer all different kind of bursaries.

The amount of a bursary is usually between £310 and £3000 per year.
